Our financial AID programme is aimed at supporting projects, activities and organisations THROUGH COMMUNITY CARE GRANTS AND OTHER INITIATIVES

We will support organisations that focus on solving significant social issues, as defined through our Financial Giving Policy. We work with the Charities Aid Foundation to deliver our financial giving programme, to ensure that all organisations we support are charitable and that we accurately record our social impact.

We support charitable organisations financially in three ways:

    Overview

Warburtons Community Grants provides small grants up to £400 to support charitable organisations towards broader activities which improve Health, Place or Skills for families in their community.

Full details of priorities and eligibility for grants can be found in our Financial Giving Policy.

Based on our localism approach, our community investment funds are allocated to our local bakeries and depots. This helps our Community Champions to make the best decisions for our local communities. We will use your postcode to understand which of our sites is closest to you and they will then receive the application and make a decision.

    When to apply

Our Community Grants are decided on a quarterly basis, so if you wish to apply for a Community Grant you will need to do so before the corresponding date each quarter. Decisions will be made within 6 weeks of the deadline, and applicants will be informed thereafter. We do receive a large number of requests for grant funding and as much as we would like to, we are not able to support all applications.

All funded activity must take place after your grant has been awarded. Please note that for community organisations which are not UK registered charities, it may take longer to verify your organisation than the timeframes listed below. Important dates for Community Grant applications are below:

CAF will process your data to validate your organisation and will act as data controller for this information and any information they collect directly from you. Warburtons and CAF will act as controllers in common for the purposes of your data.
