You will need
2 slices Warburtons White Toastie Bread
1 egg
1tbs milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
½ tsp butter
handful mixed berries
1tsp caster sugar or honey
1 tbs crème fraiche
Make it
10 minutes | Serves 1
- Break the egg into a wide shallow bowl, add the milk and vanilla and mix with a fork.
- Melt the butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Dip one slice of the bread into the egg mixture and coat both sides. Carefully place into the frying pan and repeat with the other slice. Cook for a few minutes until golden then turn and cook the other side
- Place the toast onto a warmed plate and pile on the berries, then sprinkle over the sugar or drizzle over the honey. Serve hot with crème fraiche on the side if desired
